This is going to make a lot of people uncomfortable. Mostly the ones who like to pretend that corruption is not going on in the industry.


But there is…


Not just the aesthetic side.

Not the behind-the-scenes hustle.

Not the “I outsource everything but still pretend I’m a creative genius” part.


I’m talking about the part where people

look the other way, protect the wrong people, and act like morality is optional if the person has enough followers.


Yeah. That part.


Because the truth is:

A lot of the people being hyped, shared, praised, and put on pedestals in this industry are the SAME people engaging in — or silently enabling — predatory, unethical, and downright disgusting behavior.


And guess what?

People KNOW.

They just stay quiet because calling it out might cost them “opportunities,” “connections,” or a spot in the same circle of people who only care about status and clout.


We’ve let popularity override character.

We’ve let money overshadow safety.

We’ve let status twist our moral compass so badly that people can’t even recognize wrongdoing unless it affects them personally.


And I’m done with it.

I’ve removed myself from the circle-jerk of boosting the careers and bank accounts of people who harm others, steal opportunities, or treat creatives as disposable.


If that means I’m not welcome in certain rooms?

Good.

I don’t want to sit at tables built on silence and exploitation anyway.


Here’s the wild part:

The ones with the most integrity, the most talent, and the most heart are usually the ones getting overlooked — not because they’re lacking, but because they refuse to participate in the corruption.


But I STILL believe in them.

I still believe in US.


Because there are creatives out here who actually:

✔ Protect their clients

✔ Care about their craft

✔ Build authentically

✔ Don’t need shortcuts or shady alliances to succeed

✔ Show up with honesty, not performance


And THAT is who I’m building with.

That is who I’m supporting.

That is who I’m creating space for.


If the industry wants to keep pretending everything is fine?

Let them.


I’m choosing integrity over popularity.

Truth over silence.

And real art over fake status.


And if that makes people uncomfortable…

Maybe they should ask themselves why.
